Position Size Calculator
Determine how many shares to trade based on your account size and risk tolerance. The fixed-fractional method divides your dollar risk by the per-share risk (entry minus stop-loss) to calculate a position size that keeps any single loss within your chosen percentage of total capital.

How It Works
Position size = (Account Balance × Risk %) ÷ |Entry Price − Stop Loss|. This divides your total dollar risk by the per-share risk to determine the maximum number of shares you should trade. The formula follows the fixed-fractional position sizing method used by professional traders.
